It has been observed that the internet has changed the time-tested traditional hierarchy of terrorist organizations to the new leaderless terrorism model. It is the egalitarian nature of the internet that has allowed several people to communicate with other people in a direct manner. Anti-globalization movement, extremist movements and radical environmentalist movement all have been increased only because of the implication of the internet. The social media and internet play an important role in radicalizing and recruiting the terrorists.
